Dakota
Prairie Hunting is a
family owned hunting operation offering
abundant Chinese Ringneck Pheasant hunting
in the heart of South Dakota.
Our
habitat has allowed numbers of
wild birds to flourish, providing you a
successful hunt with many memories.
Located on the
Don and Sally Ehlers ranch 9 miles north of
Midland, South Dakota, HWY 14-63, our 3200 acres of prime
pheasant hunting only is 52 miles west of
Pierre, the state's capitol.

Limits are
likely with 550 acres of CRP land and lots
of birds.
In addition to the CRP, we boast a variety of different
covers, including gently rolling native
grassland, a lightly wooded creek and
shelterbelts.
No
need to be concerned with un-harvested corn,
we guarantee easy access to ALL wildlife
habitat. We are hunter/dog friendly in all
aspects to make your hunt a relaxing and
enjoyable time.
Besides hunting ringneck
pheasants, you may also bag grouse and prairie
chicken.
We have a
"Longest Tail Competition" with the longest in
2011 being 23 7/8".
