Dakota
Prairie Hunting is a
family owned hunting operation offering
abundant Chinese Ringneck Pheasant hunting
in the heart of South Dakota.
Our
habitat has allowed numbers of
wild birds to flourish, providing you a
successful hunt with many memories.
Located on the
Don and Sally Ehlers ranch 9 miles north of
Midland, South Dakota, HWY 14-63, our 3200 acres of prime
pheasant hunting only is 52 miles west of
Pierre, the state's capitol.

Limits are
likely with 550 acres of CRP land and lots
of birds.
In addition to the CRP, we boast a variety of different
covers, including gently rolling native
grassland, a lightly wooded creek and
shelterbelts.
”I wanted to thank both of you for planning, preparing and making our hunt a great one. No doubt the birds were plentiful, and the dogs did a wonderful job of finding them. I know both of you take pride in managing the population of the pheasants and it is obvious by the numbers that your hard work has paid off. The food and cover afforded by the expanding CRP acreage makes the obvious difference.”
